Children's Division
Summer 2026

Summer Session will run June 8-26 and July 6-24.
Class sizes are limited.
​A minimum of three weeks is required to register. 

Creative Movement 3

Creative Movement 3 is appropriate for children who will turn three years old by September 1, 2026. Class meets once a week - Wednesdays 12:00-12:45pm. The cost for 45 minutes per week is $15.​ 

Creative Movement 4

Creative Movement 4 is appropriate for children who will turn four years old by September 1, 2026. Class meets once a week - Tuesdays 4:30-5:15pm. The cost for 45 minutes per week is $15.​ ​

Pre-Ballet IA (Ages 5-7)

Pre-Ballet IA is appropriate for 5-7 year olds who have less than one year of ballet experience. Class meets once a week - Wednesdays 11:00-11:50pm. The cost for 50 minutes per week is $16.​ ​

Pre-Ballet I/II (Ages 6-8)

Pre-Ballet I/II is appropriate for 6-8 year olds who are continuing with DCSB or have prior ballet experience. Class meets once a week - Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm. The cost for 1 hour per week is $18. 

Beginner Ballet I (Ages 7-10)

Beginner Ballet I is appropriate for 7-10 year olds who are continuing with DCSB or have at least two years prior ballet experience. Class meets twice a week - Tuesdays 2:00-3:15pm and Thursdays 2:00-3:45pm. This class consists of one hour and 15 minutes of ballet technique both days; Thursdays include an additional 30 minutes of dance history/video or character dance. The cost for three hours per week is $45. 

Beginner Ballet II (Ages 9-11)

​Beginner Ballet II is appropriate for 9-11 year olds who are continuing with DCSB or have at least three years prior ballet experience. 
  • June classes meet twice a week combined with Intermediate - Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm. The cost of three hours per week is $45, 
  • July classes meet twice a week - Tuesdays 12:30-1:45pm and Thursdays 12:00pm-1:45pm. Thursday classes will include 30 minutes of character dance. The cost of three hours per week is $45, 

Intermediate with Pointe (Ages 11-15)

Intermediate with Pointe is appropriate for 11-15 year olds who are continuing with DCSB or have at least four years prior ballet experience and some pointe experience.

  • June classes meet twice a week combined with BBII- Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:30pm. The cost of three hours per week is $45, and you may choose which weeks to attend if also attending the July Intensive.​​
  • July Intensive classes meet three days per week—Mondays 4:00-6:15pm; Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-6:30pm. Classes consist of ballet technique, complemented by pointe, Pilates, or modern dance each day. The cost of the three week intensive is $275.
