Performances
Our Points of Progress (PoP) performance takes place at the end of the spring semester for Pre-Ballet through Intermediate Ballet classes. Creative Movement students are encouraged to attend the performance. PoP is a showcase of classwork; students will wear their class attire, and DSCB will provide a skirt and hairpiece at no additional cost. The ballet skirt is property of DCSB and must be returned. A $75 performance fee will be charged in January to cover the rental of the performance space. Families with more than one child enrolled will be charged $75 for the first child and $50 for each additional student.
This year's performance will take place on May 21, 2023. Rehearsals will be held on Fridays and Saturdays for six weeks leading up the performance date. There will be no additional cost for this instruction, and participants are expected to be present at all rehearsals.

Our nonprofit, Druid City Ballet, has the unique opportunity to collaborate with Dance Honor Society Alabama for their Capstone Christmas. DHSA is a University of Alabama Department of Theatre and Dance organization that brings a Christmas performance each year to the residents of Capstone Village retirement community. In addition, Druid City Ballet will perform excerpts from The Nutcracker in house in the performance space in December. Rehearsals will be held on Fridays and Saturdays beginning October 21, 2022. There is no fee for participating. Dancers are required to be present at all rehearsals.
