Creative Movement 3
Creative Movement 3 is appropriate for children who will turn three years old by September 1, 2024, meaning they will be in Pre-K3 for the next school year. Class meets once a week—Wednesdays 11:30am-12:15pm. The cost for 45 minutes per week is $14.
Creative Movement 4
Creative Movement 4 is appropriate for children who will turn four years old by September 1, 2024, meaning they will be in Pre-K4 for the next school year. Class meets once a week—Mondays at 5pm or Wednesdays 10:30-11:15am. The cost for 45 minutes per week is $14. The Wednesday class has filled.
Pre-Ballet IA (Ages 5-7)
Pre-Ballet IA is appropriate for 5-7 year olds who have less than one year of ballet experience. Class meets once a week—Wednesdays 5:30-6:20pm or Thursdays 11-11:50am. The cost for 50 minutes per week is $15. The Wednesday class has filled.
Pre-Ballet IB (Ages 6-8)
Pre-Ballet IB is appropriate for 6-8 year olds who are continuing with DCSB at this level or have prior ballet experience. Class meets once a week—Wednesdays 3:15-4:15pm. The cost for one hour per week is $18.
Pre-Ballet II/Beginner Ballet I (Ages 8-11)
Pre-Ballet II/Beginner Ballet I is appropriate for 8-11 year olds who are continuing with DCSB or have prior ballet experience. Class meets twice a week—Tuesdays 4:15-5:15pm and Thursdays 4:15-5:45pm. This class consists of 1 hour of technique both days; Thursdays include 30 minutes of ballet history and video. The cost for 2.5 hours per week is $35.
Beginner Ballet II/Advanced Beginner (Ages 10-15)
Beginner Ballet II/Advanced Beginner is appropriate for 10-15 year olds who are continuing with DCSB or have prior ballet experience. Class meets twice a week—Mondays and Wednesdays 4:30-6:30pm. This class consists of ballet technique, complemented by Pilates, character dance and modern dance.
This level will meet all three weeks in July (8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24). The cost for the full session of six classes (12 hours) is $150.
