Hannah Gentry
Hannah was raised in Cumming, GA and found her love for dance at the age of 4. She grew up classically trained under Eleanor Rogers at Still Pointe Ballet. It was there that she performed leading roles in Coppelia and Cinderella. She was also found assistant teaching in the beginner ballet classes at Still Pointe. Hannah graduated high school in 2019 and decided to continue dancing in college at the University of Alabama. After dancing for the University Dance Department for one year, Hannah discovered her passion for social work. She is now entering her senior year of college at UA studying social work full time. Hannah is excited to continue pursuing her love for ballet through teaching for her first year at Druid City School of Ballet.

Adult Class Instructor
Katie O'Harra
Katie has worked with Druid City School of Ballet since 2018, as an administrative assistant and assistant instructor. Katie has over 22 years of classical ballet experience in Vaganova and Balanchine techniques, primarily training at Atlanta Ballet (GA), Mejia Ballet International (TX), the Gayle Corkery School of Ballet (TX), and The University of Alabama (AL). She also participated in several summer intensives, including the American Ballet Theatre programs. In 2017, she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Dance from The University of Alabama, with a focus in classical and contemporary ballet/pointe and competitive ballroom. During her time at UA, she danced several lead roles for the Alabama Repertory Dance Theatre, staged classical pas de deux for Dance Collection performances, and choreographed or performed original works for Dance Alabama. She also has a background in Pilates and ballroom styles, and has led dance-related outreach efforts through the Dance Alabama Tour and Working on Womanhood programs in Alabama. In addition to dancing and teaching, Katie enjoys the balance provided through painting, baking, sewing, and spending time outdoors with her husband and their 3 rescue dogs and cat.
Katie is currently an Assistant Professor in the Honors College (HC) and College of Engineering (COE) at the University of Alabama and directs the Engineering Positive and Intentional Change (EPIC) Scholars minor, a partner program between the HC and COE, focused on how engineering disciplines are intertwined with environmental responsibility, societal progress, advocacy for diversity and inclusion, energy and resource stewardship, ethics and policy, empathy, and justice.

Administrative Assistant
Marilyn Fuller
Marilyn is originally from Montgomery, Alabama, but spent nearly 40 years living in Tuscaloosa. Marilyn worked in Public Relations at Mercedes-Benz when Alabama was selected as the first site in the U.S. to build the German vehicle. Marilyn later worked at the University of Alabama athletic department for four head football coaches.
Marilyn has five grandchildren – her oldest works at Harvard University, one is going into his Senior year at UA, one is a Senior in High School in Texas, and two are in the Atlanta area. Marilyn is excited to be joining Druid City School of Ballet – she is looking forward to meeting and getting to know each of the DCSB families!
